Ipswich Town 3-2 Portsmouth – BBC Sport

Two second-half strikes from Freddie Ladapo and Wes Burns less than six minutes apart earned Ipswich three points and ended Portsmouth’s unbeaten run in the league.

The 3-2 victory in a thrilling clash came after an earlier strike from former Pompey striker Marcus Harness was canceled out by the first of two penalties from Colby Bishop.

Conor Chaplin hit the post with a snap from a corner and Leif Davis’ shot was deflected over the bar before Tractor Boys took the lead through Harness in the 25th minute when he was put on the line goal by Chaplin.

The visitors were back in the game seven minutes later when Bishop converted after Town keeper Christian Walton brought down Dane Scarlett.

Ladapo struck in the 74th minute, having only come on as a substitute a minute earlier, but Bishop scored again from the spot three minutes later after Sam Morsy was ruled for fouling Ronan Curtis in the box.

But Burns got all three points when he headed home a minute later after a cross from Kyle Edwards.
