The Texas Comptroller’s Office released monthly sales tax allowances for December on December 8. The state is distributing a total of $ 936 million, down slightly from November’s 1.1 billion but an 18.4 percent increase from December 2020.
Municipalities in Montgomery County continued to post increases from previous years, with Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery set and the woods see increases. These allocations came from sales made and reported in October.
