COLLEGEVILLE – Personal health during a pandemic is at the center of Representative Joe Webster’s virtual town hall scheduled for Tuesday.

Webster, D-150th Dist., Will host the event titled “Personal Health During a Pandemic” from 6:30 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 21. It will be streamed live on the Webster homepage,

“The trauma and stress caused by the pandemic have at times had devastating effects on our physical and mental health. And while living in a pandemic is the new normal, we must remember that these are extraordinary circumstances and that as humans we are only capable of dealing with so much overwhelming news. I wanted to host this virtual town hall to provide the tools and resources available to people struggling to live healthily as we continue to fight this contagious and deadly disease, ”said Webster.

Webster said the discussion would highlight initiatives to help individuals take a proactive role in their physical, mental and emotional health.

The event will feature panelists from a wide range of health fields, including Dr. Val Arkoosh, Commissioner of Montgomery County; Paul Stengle, Alliance ARC; Tracey Flynn, Montgomery County Seniors’ Services Office; Paul Toth, Eagleville Hospital; and a representative from the Montgomery County Midstream Unit. These panelists will join Webster for a discussion of the health issues affecting our community beyond the immediate effects of the pandemic. COVID-19 and its complications have brought to light different issues facing our population as a whole.

“In an effort to better understand the needs of our constituents as we continue to deal with the hyper-transmissible Delta variant, we seek to have a productive dialogue on the most pressing health issues affecting our community today.” , did he declare.
