The ice rink in Kotzia Square is open from tomorrow ATHENS 9.84



From tomorrow, Tuesday December 14th and until Thursday January 6th, the largest ice rink in the city will be accessible to all those who wish to live a special experience during the holidays.

The skating rink of the Municipality of Athens, with an area of ​​400 m², has been installed in Kotzia Square, in front of the Town Hall and its presence on site, combined with the luminous decoration of Athens, gives an even more dynamic tone to the festive atmosphere of the city.

Young and old will have the opportunity, under the sounds of Christmas Christmas, to show their talents on the ice, to do impressive figures or to get in touch with this festive sport for the first time, by spending a few moments of joy, action and fun on their ice skates.

?? Entrance on the ice rink is free, however required electronic pre-reservation of places, via the platform pagodromio.christmasinathens.gr.

In order to the safety of all who use the ice rink, trained staff will be on site throughout its operation.

Opening hours: Daily from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., weather permitting.

People are allowed to enter the ice rink over 5 years.

Adults must have access to the ice rink:

A. vaccination certificate or

B. sickness certificate (according to the JMC in force) or

C. Certificate of negative PCR (72 hours) or rapid test (48 hours) and presentation of an ID or other identification document

Minors from 5 to 17 years old must have:

A. negative self-test certificate for the last 24 hours or

B. vaccination certificate or

C. sickness certificate (according to the current JMC)

It should be noted that in all Christmas events of the Municipality of Athens, the rules of hygiene are strictly observed against the dispersion of Covid-19, as provided for by the current JMC.
